It’s a pleasure to get to you thru these words. They contain the love our Heavenly Father has for you. I can feel His love for you in my heart, and following His lead, I have written these words. In a way, it is God who is reaching out to you, and it is His love you feel when you read this. To write it, I have actually done what this verse says:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
I believe God wants to reach out to you, and He uses normal people like me, willing to do His will.
In my personal life, even thou God had shown me this verse so many times as a way of telling me what He wants me to do, and the decisions He wants me to make, it has been very hard to walk in complete obedience to Him. Sometimes, I still listen to my own voice, to my own thoughts, and feel compelled to act upon them. Meanwhile, all the time I sense the voice of the Holy Spirit in my heart trying to lead me where He wants me to go and to do what He wants me to do.
It may be hard for you as well.
You have a partner here in life that struggles, too. Maybe not with what you struggle with, but I certainly have my many battles. You are not alone in this walk of life. Some of us struggle with certain things, others with some other stuff, but life gets to us all.
The good thing is that we have a bigger power that is willing to help us, a great resource is available to us, to you and me. I have learned that part of living a life of making good decisions, and having good results, is by doing what this verse says:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5. And verse 6 goes on to say: “Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths. (NLT)
We are not alone
It does not matter how many times we make the wrong decisions, He is always there, waiting for us to come back to Him seeking His guidance, and by His great love, He takes us back into His arms.
Let us both walk each day listening to His voice, seeking His advice, and following His lead. Let us both stop and listen to His guidance, and be determined to do it, knowing that in His mighty power, we can do everything He wants to do.
You are not alone. I promise to do this with you every day; while we pray in Jesus’s Name to hold us close into His arms and for us to never let go.
