God loves us
See how very much our Heavenly Father loves us, for He allows us to be called His children. 1 John 3:1 NLT
I have experienced His love and there is nothing better in life. Not only does He love us, but He also helps us in our daily life. Strange as it may seem, the God that created the Universe, is also interested in you, me, and all of us.
He loves us because He is love. Love comes natural to Him. He does not try. He doesn’t just love us for a season, and then stops. His love is constant as He is constant; never changing. He loves us and He teaches us to love others, too. One of His greatest commandments is to love one another as He has loved us.
He loved us first
We love each other as a result of His loving us first. 1 John 4:19 NLT
The key to this commandment is to love others, as He has loved us first. It’s hard to love whom we don’t know; it’s hard to love whom has harmed us; it’s hard to love those that think different from us. But, when we love others the way God wants us to love them, we are not doing it with our own strength, or with our own resource of love. We love others with the immeasurable, inexplicable, and incomparable, love of God.
When we receive His love, we also receive the capacity to love like Him. Because we have His love in our hearts, we can love, the same way He does.
We are transformed
This is the message we have heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 1 John 3:11 NLT
When we receive the love of God in our hearts, something wonderful starts to happen. The first thing we feel is an amazing peace and an incredible weight lifting up. We start healing in the deepest parts of our hearts, we start to dream new dreams, and experience a great amount of hope, rising from our hearts.
The love of God inspires us to do things that otherwise we wouldn’t do; and it changes the way we see things, people, and circumstances. With the love of God, we also have the strength to forgive. He gives us all the grace we need, to forgive those that have hurt us. We can come to Him, asking for help, and He will provide us with His amazing and sufficient grace.
We can love like He does
I command you to love each other. John 15:17 NLT
We can do it thru prayer. I will be praying for you, as I pray for me as well, that we both, can love those around us, the same way, that God has loved us. I will pray for you, and also for me, so we both can forgive those that have hurt us, in order to love them. I will be also praying, that the abundant love of God, will increase each day, more and more, in our hearts.
In Jesus’s Name I pray, for us to be filled with His great, overwhelming, and healing love.
Will you also pray for me? Thanks!
